The Cloud Security Alliance Minnesota Chapter (CSA MN) is a non-profit organization formed to promote the education of its members on the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing and the use of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing. 

 

The CSA MN has been active charter since May 2018 and we delivered our first Chapter meeting in September 2018.  Our members are comprised of many subject matter experts with a wide variety of backgrounds and industry knowledge.

 

CSA MN strives to:

  • Provide local, free events to members that are about or relate to cloud security

  • Keep members informed of other local events, webinars, workshops, training, or articles pertaining to cloud security

  • Offer support and guidance to local businesses who are on their various cloud security journeys

  • Offer local networking for cloud security professionals to connect, align and develop trusted partnerships with other cloud security professionals

 

As a member of CSA MN, you are also part of the Global Cloud Security Alliance who also works to:

  • Define and raise awareness of best practices ensuring a secure cloud computing environment

  • Offer cloud security-specific research, education, certification, events, and products.

  • Benefit the entire community impacted by cloud – from providers and customers, to governments, entrepreneurs, and the assurance industry

  • Provide a forum through which diverse parties can work together to create and maintain a trusted cloud ecosystem.
